Camp Lejeune Justice Act Updates
If you filed a Camp Lejeune administrative claim with the Department of the Navy before August 10, 2024 and are now looking to hire an attorney for help with your lawsuit, please fill out our contact form below for a FREE CONSULTATION.
The Camp Lejeune Justice Act allowed Veterans and civilians to file for damages for harm from exposure to contaminated water at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. To participate in the litigation, claimants must have filed an administrative claim with the Department of the Navy by August 10, 2024. For those who filed their claim by the August 10, 2024 deadline, the Navy has six (6) months to respond.
If your claim is denied, if you are unsatisfied with the decision you do receive, or if you do not receive a decision at all within six months, you have the option to file a federal lawsuit. Since it can be difficult to navigate these complex legal processes on your own, it may be in your best interest to work with an attorney who will advocate on your behalf.
